Make clan wars more interesting than you want to leave bedwars, make it so that you have to go there without your own loot, then the winner would get some coin shards or something, not necessarily good ones, just to get something better, then op gp some str fw and the clan leader would receive and share with everyone, it would be like a clan fund where everyone can get loot for pvp and share. Because of such things, more people would participate in clan wars in my opinion, and they would be more useful, but then admins would have to monitor to prevent trolling and other nonsense.

So, you don't want to take your (possibly best) items on the server, any amount of op, gp, and other items. And you want to go to cw just getting some random kit, like Amateur.
So, against kids who can't do pvp, you're already significantly reducing your advantage. Which means - more difficult fights
I want there to be clan wars so that it's not about collecting your own loot and there would be bedwars just like that, not with some items being given and then PVP. I also want to consider not necessarily how to do clan wars but that players would start participating in them, so I want to consider my idea about clan winners receiving prizes.
First of all, you don't want to go with your own items. This means, as I mentioned in the previous comment, you don't want to go with the best server items, but with "average" ones, selected by the server administration, which aren't even meant for PvP.
Second thing - "clan wars don't necessarily have to happen". It won't be any other way. You will only enter that arena during CW. Not during some random battles.
Third thing - prizes and winners. This system will also not be changed by anyone. Currently, it works like this: if you go and fight, you receive the corresponding winner or loser prize (depending on which clan made more kills). If you just walk around or stand AFK, logically, you won't get anything.

Clan wars are meant to show which clan is better. In clan wars, not only PVP skills are evaluated, but the entire clan as a whole. Both the number of clan members, the quality of the items owned by the clan members, and everything else. This is a clan war. Clan versus clan. Imagine that anywhere in the Survival world, you gather and fight against each other, without rules, without anything, one clan against another, the best clan wins. The arena is just for your interest, but it does not determine the final outcome, because this is a clan war.
