speed up the smelting of any block because items take too long to smelt I left cobble to smelt overnight and only got 14-15 stacks is this normal?
I specifically checked. The baking time across all 3 furnaces is vanilla. That is, 10/5/5s.
You mentioned that you left them baking overnight. However, if the logs don't lie, you disconnected at 00:11 and reconnected at 7:55. Therefore, you were not in the area during the night. And when you're not in the area, chunks are not loaded.
