Players punishments in Kaimux project

1 month ago

Our project includes the following penalties:

  1. Mute on Minecraft servers;
  2. Kick from Minecraft servers;
  3. Ban on Minecraft servers;
  4. Ban on the Minecraft Prison server;
  5. Permanent ban on Minecraft servers;
  6. Discord channel mute;
  7. Permanent ban on Discord channel;
  8. Ban on website.

How each of the following punishments in the Kaimux project works and in what cases:

Mute on Minecraft servers

There are currently 6 reasons you can be muted for in the rules. Some rules have muting or blocking options. In this case, the administrator decides what to choose, muting or blocking, according to the situation and context.

The first time a player is muted with a given reason, they always get a warning. If a player is muted for the same reason a second time, they already receive a 10 minute mute. If the third time - 20 minutes, etc. The administrator cannot choose the blocking time. The player will always be given the same amount of time as the previous time plus an additional 10 minutes.

There is no unmute service in the project. This means that the longer you have been silenced, the more you will suffer. Additionally, the mute time does not decrease when you are logged out or while you are away from the keyboard (AFK).

Kick from Minecraft servers

Kicking a player from the server is usually applied when the player interferes with the administration (especially the Owner and Operator) from doing their job.

Administrators can kick a player out of the server at his request (when he gets stuck somewhere or similar) or the player constantly misbehaves and does not listen to the administration's instructions.

Senior admins also have the option to kick all players from the server. This feature is rarely used. For example, when a serious server bug is discovered and the presence of players on the server can harm it.

Ban on Minecraft servers

There are currently 27 rules that could result in a ban penalty for non-compliance. There are many of them, but in order to achieve a friendly environment, meet the requirements of the Minecraft EULA, MUG and simply maintain order and limit the spread of harmful information, they are really needed.

Bans on servers can be applied from 1 day to 255 days. The administrator, who sees a player who violates some rule, has the opportunity to choose the reason for the ban, but cannot choose the time of the ban. The time is set in the system and administrators cannot change it. This is done so that there is equality between the players and if one is banned for the same reason, for example for a week, there is no other for two weeks or more. One reason, one punishment.

After banning a player on a Survival, Skyblock, or Boxpvp server, the player is transferred to the Prison server, from which they cannot leave for all ban time. What to do on the Prison server and how to earn money on it - Prison server.

Also, you can be blocked by our AntiCheat. If you are caught cheating, you will also be sent to the Prison server for (usually) 14 days.

Unban service is not available in the Kaimux project. To get out of prison faster, the only option is to pay the fine with the prison server command /payfine.

The amount of the fine is applied according to the ban time (1 day of ban = 10,000 EUR) and remains the same as the time decreases.

Ban on the Minecraft Prison server

If the player does not follow the rules on the Prison server, he is transferred to a "jail unit" where he must sit for 2 hours.

During the stay in the "jail unit", the player cannot go out anywhere and communicate with other players on the server.

The same with AntiCheat. If he notices that you are using cheats, you will transfer to a "jail unit". If you use those cheats in the "jail unit" again, you will be transferred there again and your 2 hour sentence will count again.

In the cell, you can buy unban for other servers (not directly), but you'll still have to sit through those 2 hours.

If you disconnect from the server, your 2 hours will not count. This means that the amount of time you had left before you logged out will be the same when you log back in.

Also, you have to spend those 2 hours in one day. After reloading the project, the remaining time resets.

Permanent ban on Minecraft servers

Permanent bans on Minecraft servers are rarely applied. It is mostly used when there is persistent spreading of incorrect information to players, such as by causing hatred towards the project or when one or more servers of the project are directly harmed.

Discord channel mute

Insulting other players or the administration and other reasons mentioned in the project rules are not tolerated in our Discord channel. Also, a player can be muted for inappropriate behavior in support tickets. As a result, players are usually silenced for the maximum (currently) possible amount of time, which is a week. After muting, the player loses the ability not only to communicate in chat channels but also to create support tickets.

A permanent ban from the Discord channel

Players can be permanently banned from the Discord channel more often this is for one reason - the constant dissemination of incorrect information causing dissatisfaction with the project. Since such players only spread negativity, spoil others' moods, etc., they are not wanted in the project.

For other reasons, this punishment is applied very rarely.

Once blocked, the player will not be unbanned for the next few years that's for sure. It is not worth asking for an unban.

Ban on the website

If a player behaves inappropriately on the Kaimux website, insulting the project and its administration, it may be blocked.

The duration of blocking is 1 year.

There is no option to purchase an unban.

After blocking, the player can no longer write comments on the website and create new posts (ideas, bugs, complaints, applications for administration).
