Popular farms on the Skyblock server

On this server, players usually build a variety of small farms, but if a player decides to build larger farms, the most commonly used are cocoa beans, vines, sugar cane, melons, pumpkins and kelp.

Cocoa bean farm

This is the most commonly used and probably the most profitable farm on this server.

Building it is quite simple. You build a wall of jungle logs of the desired height and place cocoa on them.

Kelp Farm

Another popular farm is kelp.

The only one of the farms mentioned here that is used underwater.

Building such a farm is really easy. You just plant the kelp at the bottom of your water body, and they will constantly grow.

Melon and pumpkin farms

Although Survival is dominated by such automatic farms, Skyblock is more often built by hand (you have to harvest the crop yourself).

It's really easy to build. You leave a 2-block gap in the middle, where this crop can appear when it grows, and you plow one row from the sides and plant seeds. When it grows, you can simply run through the middle and chop down this crop with an axe and collect it in your inventory.

Sugarcane Farm

This is another popular farm that is not difficult to build but requires a lot of water.

Since according to Minecraft mechanics, sugarcane can only grow near water, you have to build in this way: dirt, water, dirt.

You plant sugarcane on the dirt, and you can build stairs or slabs in the water if you want to walk in that area.

Vines Farm

This is probably the simplest farm you can build. However, if you want to harvest by hand, you need the Fly service. Without this service, harvesting by hand is more difficult and requires more building resources.

To build this farm, you only need to plant these vines at the bottom of some blocks and provide a solid floor below (so that the drops does not fall into the void) or some kind of collection system.

XP Farms

Another popular type of farm is XP Farms. On this server, such farms are most often used by building high platforms, allowing malicious creatures to spawn there and then dropping them into a pit at the player.
