Since it is a common case that players cheat other players with item trades, a system was created to protect against cheating.
In short, one player sends a trade invitation to another player, the other player confirms, and then you trade.
No, the trade system is currently available on Survival, Skyblock, Boxpvp, and Prison servers.
If one player wants to trade some items with another player, one of them must crouch down (holding SHIFT) and click on the other player with the right mouse button.
In this way, an invitation for trade is sent.
The player you sent the invitation to will see the corresponding message in the chat window:

After accepting an invitation to trade, a window opens visible to both players.
At the top of it, you can see the nicknames of the players who are trading. On the left is your nickname, on the right is the other player's. This is useful if you are afraid that you will start trading with the wrong player (an invitation accepted by mistake).
The top two rows of the window are for one player, and the bottom two are for the other player.
The following trade options are possible:

In the lower left corner, you can see the status of the other player. What statuses can be:
It's unlikely. Why?
Throughout the trade process, you can see the items you're exchanging and the money you're paying or being paid.
Also, while you have the trade window open, no one can force anything into your inventory.
If you're trading expensive items, trade somewhere that doesn't have PvP. For example, in Spawn.
