Your comprehensive guide to everything on the KAIMUX Network.
Each new player, after typing the command /island, can create one island by clicking the "Create new island" button and entering the island name in the chat window.
The number of islands a player can create depends on the service that player has:
If you create several islands, but your service ends, your islands do not disappear anywhere, but you can only teleport to the first one. Later, after purchasing the service, you can teleport to your other islands again.
When a player is on an island and types /island, the same menu is visible on the right side of the window as anywhere else, and on the left - the buttons for that island.
What each icon means:
Each island owner can change the settings of their island as they need. What options are available:
The types you can change your island to depend on the service you have:
Also, if you have one of the content creator roles, you can also change the types:
More about the roles of content creators – in the article.
Changing the island biome takes time, so activate the change and wait.
Available island wall type options:
The first three options change the shade of the wall, and the last one removes that wall altogether. Since there is no wall, you can (with the appropriate service) fly around. Of course, you will not be able to build blocks outside your intended boundaries.
Each player added to an island can be assigned to one of three levels: Guest, Member, and Trusted.
When a friend is added to an island, they are automatically assigned as Guest.
The level can be raised by left-clicking on that player's icon.
The level can be lowered by right-clicking.
If a player is added as a Guest, the settings applied to them are valid as long as the island owner is logged in to the Skyblock server. When they log out, the settings for the entire island (set via /island -> Settings) are automatically activated. When the owner logs in, the previous settings are restored.
When a player is set as a Member or Trusted, those settings are valid regardless of whether the owner is on the server or not. These 2 levels differ only in that you can set different settings for Member and different settings for Trusted.
All possible settings for friend levels are identical to the settings for the island itself, with the following additional settings:
The exact same settings can be used to grant the necessary permissions to a specific player.
An example of what can be done with these settings:
Let's imagine that you disable all settings on your island. This means that no one can do anything on your island.
Then you add one player as a Guest. Since you want to allow him to visit your island, you enable the movement and teleportation settings. Of course, when you log out, that player will no longer be able to enter the island.
Then a second player appears who wants to kill mobs on your farm. You raise his level to Member and make settings for this category that allow him to move, teleport, and kill animals. This player will now be able to come to you even when you are not on the server.
You find a good friend who wants to live with you on the island. No problem. You assign him to Trusted and set the settings for this category that allow him to move, teleport, destroy, build blocks, and use chests. And that's it. He can play almost as if he were on his own island.
And if you convince a brother or sister to play together and want to share everything, you add him as a Trusted friend and enable all of that player's personal permissions. Then that player can play with you just as if the island belonged to him.
If you have any questions about which settings are best to change in your case, please contact the project administration at any time.
You can divide your island into several separate areas. For example, you want to build a farm and allow all players on the server to use it, but you don't want those players to walk around the rest of your island - zones will help you.
You create a zone, enable movement, teleportation, and animal killing permissions in it, and that's enough. Players will be able to use only your zone.
All information about zones, their creation and use - in the article.
Depending on the service you have, the island owner (or a friend with permission) can change the icon of that island. What are the possible options:
