Kaimux Administration

Our administration is a small group of people who are willing to donate their precious time to help the project players and develop the project's activities.

Administration structure

The administration consists of:

1. Owner
2. Operator
3. Organizers
4. Moderators (Helper - Manager)
5. Builders
6. Testers (Jr, Mid, Sr)

What does the Moderator's job look like?

The priority of a Moderator's job has always been and will always be the same - to help players.

This could be achieved by answering their questions, perhaps helping them build something, explaining how something works, or doing other things.

Are Moderators required to monitor players fighting each other?

While this is commendable, no, it is definitely not required. One reason is that most Moderators are not well-versed enough in PvP cheating to be able to punish such offenses confidently.

What does the Builder's job look like?

A typical Builder's job would look like this - the Owner, Operator, or Organizers create a task with a detailed description of what structure, arena, or map they need, Builders build it, the task author checks if everything is OK, Builders correct it according to the comments, the task author checks it again, and Builders are paid.

What does a Tester's job look like?

The main job is to look for vulnerabilities in systems and properly report them to the responsible persons.

Salary

Which levels of administration are paid:

1. Operator - yes.
2. Organizer - yes, by agreement.
3. Moderator (Helper-Manager) - no. This is volunteering.
4. Builder - virtual project currency according to the criteria.
5. Tester (Jr, Mid, Sr) - virtual project currency according to the criteria.

Owner

Project owner. Responsible for:

1. Making most decisions on updates,
2. Creating and improving software (Minecraft plugins, website, Discord bot),
3. Promoting the project.

This level has only one person - ItsVaidas.

Operator

Responsible for:

1. Making some decisions on updates and player issues,
2. Handling bugs and improving functionality in some software (Minecraft plugins),
3. Updating and creating some website text data,
4. Configuring plugins,
5. Testing systems,
6. Human resource management.

This level has only one person - Scoutress.

Manager

Responsible for:

1. Punishing rule violators,
2. Assisting players on servers,
3. Assisting players in the Unsigned, Support, ChatMod, and Manager Discord ticket categories,
4. Mute players on servers,
5. Approving punishments for lower-level moderators,
6. Registering new players,
7. Recovering passwords.

Players with this level are (maximum 2 at a time):

Overseer

Responsible for:

1. Punishing rule violators,
2. Assisting players on servers,
3. Assisting players in the Unsigned, Support, and ChatMod Discord ticket categories,
4. Mute players on servers,
5. Approving punishments for lower-level moderators.

ChatMod

1. Building new structures according to requirements,

2. Fixing bugs according to requirements,
3. Determining the severity of bugs,
4. Checking bugs reported by players,
5. Testing new features,
6. Quality control of updates.

Application for administration

Moderators (Helper - Manager)

The application is ongoing (excluding temporary suspensions in cases of system updates).

A player cannot apply if he has been punished for rule violations in the last six months* or has been punished for disclosing personal information.

Builders

The selection is ongoing (excluding temporary suspensions in cases of system updates).

A player cannot apply if he has been punished for bug usage in the last year.*

Moderator progression

We base our decisions on the promotion or demotion of a Moderator based on certain objective data.

When can a Moderator be demoted or fired?

Again, this depends on objective data and whether the Moderator is reachable at that time.

Tester progression through levels

A tester is promoted when he collects a predetermined number of points (for bugs found and other testing-related work).

*Applications are accepted if the player was falsely punished and can provide indisputable evidence supporting this claim.
