How to reach and survive in Space

Space begins when you reach a height of 500 y.

You can ascend with the Elytra and enough fireworks.

You can only survive in space with a Space Suit.

Due to Earth's gravity, you will still be pulled down by gravity in Space. Therefore, when you go up there, you must be in a Space Suit and instead of the Elytra, you need to put on a Jetpack Chestplate. With it, you will be able to avoid gravity and move in the desired direction as long as you have enough fuel. If you do not have at least one part of the Space Suit, you will take damage from which you will eventually die. And if you do not have a Jetpack, gravity will pull you down to a height of -64 y, and then you will appear on Earth at a height of 500 y and fall further down. If you are without the Elytra, you will die from the fall.

Clothing and equipment for Space exploration

Oxygen Helmet

To craft you need 1 totem, 1 iron helmet, and 1 oxygen tank.

Required to be able to breathe in Space and on the Moon.

The durability of this item is depleted in about 15-30 minutes.

Jetpack Chestplate

To craft you need 1 totem, 2 elytra, 1 iron chestplate, and 1 fireball.

Required to be able to breathe and fly in Space and the Moon.

The durability of this item is depleted in about 15-30 minutes.

Space Chestplate

To craft you need 1 totem and 1 iron chestplate.

The durability of this item is depleted in about 15-30 minutes.

Required to be able to breathe in Space and on the Moon.

Space Leggings

To craft you need 1 totem and 1 iron leggings.

Required to be able to breathe in Space and on the Moon.

The durability of this item is depleted in about 15-30 minutes.

Space Boots

To craft you need 1 totem and 1 pair of iron boots.

Required to be able to breathe in Space and on the Moon.

The durability of this item is depleted in about 15-30 minutes.

Oxygen Tank

To make it you need 1 bucket of snow powder and 1 glass bottle.

Required for oxygen refill of the Oxygen Helmet.

Oxygen is used up in about 5 minutes.

Fuel Tank

To make it you need 1 firework, 1 glass bottle, and a fireball.

Required to refuel the Jetpack chestplate.

The fuel is used up in about 1 minute of continuous flight. During this time, you can fly about 1 kilometer.

Asteroids

When you go up into space, you can find objects of various sizes in the air. These are Asteroids. They usually contain several blocks of useful materials. When mining various useful minerals in asteroids, you have a 1% chance that the mined block will drop a certain gem for you. Gems are used to add enchantments to your tools or armor that are not seen in regular Minecraft. All information about custom enchantments is in the tutorial - Custom enchantments.

Teleportation and private areas

In space, you cannot claim a certain area, so the area creation function will not work there.

Also, there is no function to teleport to Space. So, if you have already died, to collect the remaining items, you will have to start again from the ground to the same place. If items fall into the void, not on an asteroid, they disappear.

As you rise even higher in space, when you reach a height of 420 (space) y, you appear in the gravitational field of the Moon and as a result, it pulls you towards its surface.
